Our Business Units Petrochemicals, Specialty Chemicals, Warehousing & Commodities and Food & Feed offer total solutions based on integrated logistics and engineering. To support these fast growing businesses, Katoen Natie is looking for a Business Analyst for its sites in the harbor of Antwerp (Belgium).

The Business Support Specialist ensures operational continuity and digital readiness within the Specialty Chemicals business unit. This role supports system migrations, manages business-critical tools, and provides hands-on assistance in data governance, project execution, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

System & Tool Management

    • Maintain and support platforms such as PLATO/COFANO (ERP), HSSEQ-App, CRM,  HR, ServiceDesk Plus, and SharePoint.
    • Assist in system improvements and migrations,  including pre-migration preparation, execution, and post-migration validation.

Operational Support

    • Handle service requests and incidents as a licensed technician in ServiceDesk Plus.
    • Guide new project implementations and business startups.

Data & Document Governance

    • Maintain structured document repositories.
    • Define and manage access rights and collaboration strategies on SharePoint and OneDrive.

Digitalization & Compliance

    • Contribute to digital transformation initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Collaboration & Communication

    • Actively participate in team sites and communication platforms.
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to support business needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Logistics or a related field
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English.
  • Hands on, very good communication and relations skills.
  • Flexible, involved, organized, self-motivated.
  • Certification in Information Technology Infrastructure Library frameworks is a plus.
